Kalapawai Café and Deli has a charming storefront reminiscent of a vintage market, which is fitting as the company can trace back its origins to 1932 with the original Kalapawai Market. Over the years and various ownership, the 1932 market blossomed into a booming business with three deli locations, including this one in Kapolei, which offers a dinner menu! And better yet, Kalapawai sources ingredients from local farmers and ranchers whenever possible. For something locally caught, try the Blackened Fresh Catch “Po’boy,” or the Spicy Ahi Poke.
